Chill Out With A Prosecco Fruit Slushy
These Prosecco and Summer Berry Fruit Slushies Are Quite Something!
With the majority of the UK basking in the sunshine once more this weekend, we thought it would be more than appropriate to let you know about some of the fruit slushies that our team have been making this summer. Using a divine combination of Premier Estates Wine's award winning Italian Prosecco, various sweet, fresh fruits and a shot of spirit or liqueur, we think we're definitely onto a winner or two with these recipes. So, enjoy this late summer weather reprisal with the ultimate relaxation embellishment.
Prosecco and Strawberry Slushy
The ingredients:
- Premier Estates Prosecco
- 6 fresh strawberries, chopped
- A squeeze of lime juice
- A shot of vodka or strawberry liqueur
- Crushed ice (3 or 4 ice cubes worth)
- A sprig of mint to garnish
The Method:
Pop the strawberry pieces, lime juice, crushed ice and vodka (or strawberry liqueur) into a blender and give it a good whizz. Find a decent sized tumbler so that it is half filled with the resulting slush and top up the rest of the way with Prosecco. Add the sprig of mint to make it look fancy and enjoy!
