TENUTA DI MONTALTO CONERO DOCG RED WINE

Made with some of the finest grapes grown anywhere in Italy, this delighful red wine has a deep intense red colour. On the nose it is pleasant and fruity with wonderful spicy notes. On the palate it is dry, sapid, rightly tannic and full bodied. Served at room temperature, it is a perfect accompaniement to any strongly flavoured meal.

A DOCG (Denominazione di Origine Controllata e Garantita) wine is made using closely controlled and monitored production methods. Only wines showing consistently high standards earn promotion to DOCG status, with the 'G' denoting an additional “garantita,” or guarantee, by the Italian government to be wines of especially high quality.

• A Wines with a cork are fine to be stored standing up. Keep all wines away from bright light (both natural or artificial) and keep at a cool and constant temperature, ideally between 10-15°C.

• A You don’t need to decant this wine, but, any wine can be decanted. The reason for decanting is to aerate the wine; a lot of young wines can be tight or closed on the nose or palate. By slowly pouring the wine into the decanter it takes in oxygen which helps to open up the aromas and flavours.
