Wine Description:

3x Prosecco

11% vol. 75cl
Celebrate in style with our award winning Prosecco DOC and, with free delivery, delighting your guests has never been easier. Having won dozens of awards for quality, this surely has to be one of the highest quality bottles of Prosecco DOC available anywhere in the UK, in its price range.

Our Prosecco DOC Millesimato is made using Glera grapes from the Veneto region of North Eastern Italy, thereby ensuring the highest possible quality of Prosecco. It has a pale straw colour with hints of honeysuckle, citrus, pear and apple, aromatic with a hint of sweetness and a fine delicate finish.

3x Grand Rosé

11% vol. 75cl

Often referred to as our “Pink Prosecco”, this easy drinking Grand Rosé Extra Dry sparkling wine sits equally well for a toast, or to enjoy throughout your entire meal. Made using the same Charmat method as our award winning Prosecco, our Grand Rosé is made with a blend of white and red grapes carefully selected to ensure consistency of colour, flavour and aroma. These grapes are sourced from some of the very best Italian vineyards owned and managed by vintners who have been growing the highest quality product using traditional methods, for decades.

Our Grand Rosé is made using grapes from the Veneto region of North Eastern Italy, thereby ensuring this pink sparkler is of the highest possible quality and surely one of the best available within its price point. It is pale pink in colour, elegant with hints of fresh ripe summer fruits, floral rose aromas and has a delicate sweetness.

One box includes six bottles of wine.

FAQs - (Click On The Question To Reveal The Answer)

  • Q Why choose Premier Estates Prosecco over other brands?
  • A If you’ve been looking online for Prosecco, you can’t fail to notice the enormous number of different brands out there. But how many of those are award winners? The answer is "precious few". Prestigious awards are very difficult to come by. Our Prosecco has won no less than 10 awards at high profile competitions such as the International Wine Challenge (IWC), the International Wine and Spirit Competition (IWSC) and the Decanter World Wine Awards over the last few years which is testament to the amount of sheer hard work put into refining our product by our wine production team. All those awards and still keenly priced too.
  • Q Where is our Prosecco made?
  • A Premier Estates Prosecco is made in North Eastern Italy, specifically in the town of Vazzola which is in the heart of the Veneto region. This particularly beautiful part of Italy has many amazing vineyards which are famous for producing truly wonderful grapes. The varying terrain means that the grapes have quite different characteristics depending upon the geographical height at which they were grown.
  • Q What is the production process for our Prosecco?
  • A The manufacturing method used by our wine making team to produce our award winning Prosecco is most often referred to as the “Charmat Method” named after Frenchman Eugène Charmat, a pioneer in the use of glazed stainless steel tanks to facilitate the secondary fermentation stage.
  • Q What type of grape is used to make our Prosecco?
  • A Premier Estates Prosecco is made using Glera or “Prosecco” grapes exclusively. We choose not to blend our grapes with other varieties as this has a tendency to result in a different quality of wine year on year.
  • Q Where is our Grand Rosé from?
  • A Our Grand Rosé Vino Spumante is made using a combination of red and white grapes carefully selected from vineyards also in the Veneto region of Italy.
  • Q Have these wines won any awards for quality?
  • A Yes, our Prosecco DOC has won the following awards – 2017 International Wine & Spirit Competition Silver Medal, 2017 Decanter World Wine Awards Bronze Medal, 2017 International Wine Competition Commended, 2017 International Wine Challenge Bronze Medal, 2016 International Wine & Spirit Competition Bronze Medal, 2016 International Wine Challenge Commended, 2016 International Wine Challenge Bronze Medal, 2015 International Wine Challenge Bronze Medal.
  • What are the differences between Prosecco and Champagne?
  • A Prosecco is a lighter, fruitier sparkling wine with a wide appeal due to the differences in the production methods of the two beverages. Champagne undergoes a longer secondary fermentation process and tends to be more of an acquired taste with less fruity, more toasty, biscuit flavour tones.
  • Q Why is Prosecco less expensive than Champagne?
  • A Let’s be clear here, Prosecco is most certainly not a “cheap alternative” to Champagne. It’s an entirely different wine which is not as costly to produce as Champagne. It’s as simple as that.
  • Q Can I make cocktails with Prosecco or Grand Rosé?
  • A You certainly can! Prosecco and Grand Rosé cocktails seem to be all the rage and we have a section of our website dedicated to a whole host of mouth-watering recipes including Prosecco Margaritas and Prosecco Peach Bellinis. Why not take a look?
  • Q What temperature should these wines be served at?
  • A Serve these wines chilled (7-10°C) to ensure that you get the best characteristics out of the wines.
  • Q How long will these wines last once opened?
  • A Once opened, sparkling wines should be consumed within 24 hours.
  • Q How should I store these wines?
  • A Always store wines sealed with a cork on their side to ensure that the wine inside the bottle remains in contact with the cork, keeping it moist. Keep all wines away from bright light (both natural or artificial) and keep at a cool and constant temperature, ideally between 10-15°C.
  • Q Should I decant these wines?
  • A You can serve our Prosecco or Grand Rosé straight from the bottle into flutes, but any wine can be decanted. The reason for decanting is to aerate the wine as decanting can help a younger vintage open up, calm down the effervescence and let the aromas develop.
