Today has been a great day at Premier Estates Wine. The results have been announced for tranche 1 of the International Wine Challenge 2016 and we had 5 winning wines. It’s always great to have one of our wines recognised, but to have 5 is just fantastic.

The role of honour is as follows, our Prosecco Extra Dry has once again been awarded a Bronze medal; this has been joined by our Chilean Sauvignon Blanc which has also been awarded a Bronze medal.

Our South African Chenin Blanc and Pinotage along with our Californian Chardonnay have all been awarded a commendation for their high quality.

The International Wine Challenge (IWC) is now in its 33rd year. The IWC is accepted as the World's finest and most meticulously judged wine competition which assesses every wine blind and judges each for its faithfulness to style, region and vintage. Throughout the rigorous judging processes, each medal-winning wine is tasted on three separate occasions by at least 10 different judges.

To be awarded five medals by the IWC is wonderful news and a fantastic boost to the whole Premier Estates Wine team.
